Trump's Tweet about the "Horror" he seen, fell short seeing he never actually visited Houston.

Trump’s response to Hurricane Harvey has been lackluster according to reports, but the POTUS is now trying to say he witnessed “horror” first hand despite never visiting Houston. Via Twitter, he said, “After witnessing first hand the horror & devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, my heart goes out even more so to the great people of Texas!”

Despite his heartfelt tweet, he never actually visited Houston during his time in Texas. According to the NY Daily News, Trump was briefed on the storm while in Texas but never touched down in the flood-stricken city. He made it clear that he would not be going to the city that was affected the most by the storm and instead spent time in Corpus Christi and Austin where he spoke with officials about how to handle the catastrophic storm. In both of the cities Trump visited, there was little damage done by the storm.

Along with not heading to Houston, Trump did not meet with any victims affected by the storm, according to reports.
