A Daily News reporter witnessed the aftermath of one attack at 277 Eastern Parkway, between Classon and Franklin Aves. around 3:20 p.m.
People screamed and crowds knocked over barriers to get away from the bedlam. Several young men sprinted through the crowd and police followed.
“They jumped someone," said a woman who ran off without giving her name.
An emcee barked from a nearby float, “Every time we do this your foolishness ruins the carnival!"
A 19-year-old man, whose name wasn’t immediately available, was seen bleeding and clutching his arm. He looked like he was going to pass out before he ran off. He was later taken to Kings County Hospital.
The victim of the 175 Eastern Parkway stabbing sustained a minor cut, and refused medical attention.
In a fifth incident, authorities reported that a person fell from a float.
